The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released a step-by-step guidelines for all 2024 UTME/DE applicants to ease the registration process. All candidates are to note the below registration guidelines for 2024 UTME/DE registration.
Selling of E-pins for 2024 UTME registration will officially kick-off on Monday, 8th of January, 2024. While registration begins on Monday, January 15, 2024. Direct entry E-pin vending and registration begins on Wednesday, 28th of February, 2024 and ends on March 28, 2024.

The JAMB recommended text for this year remains “The Life Changer” by Khadija Abubakar Jalli for UTME candidates.
Candidates are to note that, the charge for E-pins varies based on candidates choice:
- UTME registration with Mock is #7,700 only
- UTME without Mock fee is #6,200 only.
Below is a breakdown of the approved fees:
- UTME/DE application fee – #3,500
- Reading Text (Free for only 2024) – Free
- CBT Centre registration fee – #700
- CBT Centre Examination Service Charge – #1,500
- Bank Charges – #500
- CBT Mock-UTME Centre Fee – #1,500
Candidates are to specify the type of E-pin they wish to purchase at the authorized point of purchase as no refund would be made.
